Penny Kathleen “Kathy” Zardin was born on August 6, 1960, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Jimmie Howard Smith and Toni Suzanne (Steele) Smith. She passed from this life on Friday, December 10, 2021, in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 61 years. Kathy was raised and educated in Arkansas and graduated with the Fayetteville High School Class of 1978. She then went on to earn a licensed practical nursing degree from Northwest Vo-Tech in Springdale, Arkansas. She was married in Springdale in 1988 to John A. Zardin. Kathy spent most of her working life as co-owner of Dynamic Construction. In her spare time, she enjoyed a variety of past times such as reading and doing miscellaneous activities outdoors.
