Judy Lee Powell McCoy was born September 19, 1952, in Duncan, Oklahoma, to William Wendell Powell, Jr., and Abbye Dean “Jackie” Stewart Powell. She passed from this life on April 20, 2022, in Catoosa, Oklahoma, at the age of 69 years. Judy completed her secondary education at Paoli, Oklahoma, and was a graduate of Paoli High School. She continued her education at the University of Tulsa earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Judy was married to the love of her life, David Mark McCoy, on April 8, 1983, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Judy spent much of her working life as a registered nurse, but so much of her life was dedicated to serving others. She worked at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, Nursefinders of Tulsa, Tulsa Technology Center, Home Health Care, and a stay-at-home mom. Judy loved Jesus and attended The Park Church of Christ in Tulsa. She enjoyed her church family and church events as well as Bible studies. She also enjoyed reading and baking for others. She dearly loved her family and enjoyed her time with each of them.
Judy will be dearly missed and leaves a family that holds many cherished memories:

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Jackie Powell.
A Celebration of Judy’s life will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 30, 2022, at The Park Church of Christ in Tulsa with Jason Thornton and Mitch Wilburn officiating.
