Shirley Louise Jackson was born June 9, 1947, in Nowata, Oklahoma, to John Vaughn Bellamy and Sarah Louise Bradshaw Bellamy. She died Friday, May 20, 2022, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 74 years. Shirley completed her secondary education at McLain High School. She was married June 6, 1964, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Phillip Nickolas Jackson. Shirley spent much of her working life with Avis as an internet customer service agent. She was a strong woman of faith and attended Garnett Assembly of God in Tulsa before attending Eastland Assembly of God in Tulsa. She dearly loved her church family and enjoyed singing in the choir. She enjoyed traveling with the Good Sam’s RV Club as well as her church group, the Fun Runners. She especially loved her family and her role as “Nana” to her grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Phillip Jackson, and her brother, John Bellamy.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, May 27, 2022, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 28, 2022, at Eastland Assembly of God in Tulsa with Pastor Don Couch officiating. Serving as casket bearers will be Cameron Shatwell, Preston Shatwell, Nickolas Jackson, Kyle Jackson, Jackson Mullins, Joshua Law, Ryder Bagwill, Sawyer Bagwill, and. Final resting place will be next to her husband, Phillip, at the Fort Gibson National Cemetery in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
