Elaine Bailey Mailes was born August 15, 1948, in Taft, California, to Raymond Douglas Bailey and Bernadean Elizabeth Robertson Bailey. She died Saturday, July 30, 2022, in Collinsville, Oklahoma, at the age of 73 years. Elaine was reared and educated in Owasso, Oklahoma, and completed her secondary education at Owasso High School. She spent much of her working life as an electronics buyer, particularly seismograph equipment. She was married February 14, 1998, in Salina, Oklahoma, to Leonard Mailes. Elaine enjoyed a variety of pastimes, including spending time fishing. She also enjoyed family gatherings, cooking and entertaining people. She dearly loved her family, which included her dogs, and was extremely fond of her role as “Grandma”.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 6, 2022, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso with Pastor Michael Nunn officiating. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 4110 South 100th East Avenue, Suite 101, Tulsa, Oklahoma, 74146. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
