Le Tran was born June 27, 1951, in Loc Ninh, Vietnam, to Bup Van Tran and Huong Thi Nguyen. She died Sunday, August 21, 2022, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 71 years. Le completed her high school education in Vietnam. She was married July 20, 1979, in Song Be, Vietnam, to Dong Mai. While living in Oklahoma, Le spent most of her professional working life as a machine operator with ResourceOne in Tulsa. She was a member of the Tam Bao Buddhist Temple in Tulsa. Le enjoyed a variety of pastimes, especially spending time with her family, cooking and traveling. She loved trying new foods and enjoyed a drink or two. She also enjoyed her jewelry collection. Le could also be found at the casino trying her luck at the slot machines. She was a courageous woman with a kind heart, speaking up for what she believed and always helping those in need. A come and go public service will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso.
