Eddie Dale WhiteEddie Dale White, age 84 of rural Claremore, passed from this life on Thursday, April 6, 2023 at his home.
Eddie was born on January 14, 1939 in Okmulgee to J.E and Ruby (Jackson) White. He was raised and received his education in the Twin Hills area of Okmulgee County. Upon graduating high school, Eddie attended Northeastern State College in Tahlequah where he received his bachelor’s degree.
On December 26, 1959, Eddie would return to Okmulgee to wed Charlene Lane. Their union would lead to the births of their three children: Brett, Kim and Michael.
Eddie lived most of his life in Jenks, having moved there in 1976, though for the last seven years he called Verdigris home. He spent his career working for Oklahoma School Supply and the Spartan School of Aeronautics until his retirement a few years ago.
A long-time member of The Park Church of Christ, Eddie devoted his life to his relationship with Jesus. He also enjoyed time spent indulging in his two passions: fishing, and many happy hours spent with grandchildren.
 
Those that survive Eddie include his children: Brett White, and wife Kathy, of Collinsville; Kim Froese, and husband Ken, of Claremore and Michael White, and wife Shelley, of Owasso. Also surviving are his seven grandchildren: Stevie Holley, and husband Bryson; Callie Stephenson, and husband Garrett; Lindsey Ward, and husband Jimmie; Lauren Albert, and husband Dana; Logan Froese, Zachary White as well as Jacob White and his wife, Melanie.
Eddie is also survived by his ten great-grandchildren: Jayla Albert, Maverick Ward, Mason Ward, Lennox Ward, Perrie Stephenson, Sunnie Stephenson, Malachi Albert, Tripp Stephenson, Jovi Albert and Henley Holley as well as two bonus greats, Ryker and Rhett Woods. Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, wife Charlene and two brothers, Jimmy and Johnny.
The family would like to express their appreciation and gratitude to Home Instead for their help in service of their father over the past several months in his home.
 
Visitation will be from 4-8pm on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at the Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Family graveside services will be held at 10am Wednesday, April 12th at the Okmulgee Cemetery in Okmulgee, OK. Public memorial services will be held at 1pm on Wednesday in the Chapel at The Park Church of Christ located at 10600 East 96th Street South in Tulsa.
The family ask that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Park Preschool at 10600 East 96th Street South, Tulsa, OK 74133.
