Deborah was born March 20, 1939, in the small town of Alpena, Arkansas.
Seventh of eight children to her mother, Delphia (Massengale) Henderson, and father, Thomas Henderson, both have preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death is her brother, Eugene Henderson of Stockton California, her sister, Doris stover also of Stockton, her sister, Leda Cheatam of Tulsa Oklahoma, sister, Virginia Holt of Dallas Texas, her sister Winnie Boss of Green Forest Arkansas, her sister, Bernice Simpson of New York.
Her only living sibling is her brother Harold Henderson lives in Atlanta Georgia.
Deborah grew up in Harrison Arkansas. After graduating high school, she met and married Terrall M. Johnson Sr, who also preceded her in death. They were married for 59 years and had two children, Terrall M. Johnson Jr, wife Janet from Foyil Ok, and Sharon K. Johnson from Manteca, California.
They moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1961. Deborah had several jobs, aside from raising their children, she first started working as a school crossing guard and then found her passion in selling real estate. Deborah loved looking at houses and seemed to find one bigger and better, so they would buy it. After the children were grown, they bought a convenience store in Owasso, Ok called HiView Mini Mart. They had great success with the store and they purchased a second store in Broken Arrow, Ok.
After selling both stores, they enjoyed retirement and spending time with their favorite (only) grandchild, Gabriel Luke Johnson who still lives in Owasso with his wife, Jonna.
Deborah went camping and fishing, but she was not the tent type, she did it anyway, although she preferred hotels and shopping to any outdoor activity. But if her family was there, so was she.
Deborah spent the last 4 ½ years of her life at Brookdale Senior Living memory care, she has definitely kept them on their toes until she passed on April 8, 2023.
