Roger Dale Ford was born November 8, 1962, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, to Myrl and Glenna Beaver Ford. He died Saturday, April 29, 2023, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 60 years, after a lengthy battle with amyloidosis. Roger completed his secondary education in Owasso, Oklahoma, and graduated with the Owasso High School Class of 1981. He was married June 10, 1989, to Kim Hampton, at Central Baptist Church in Owasso. Roger worked various jobs in his life including Western Lawns, Ventaire, Bailey Equipment, and most recently maintenance supervisor for Central Baptist Church. He enjoyed a variety of pastimes, especially sports. He coached his son’s football, baseball, and basketball teams. He also enjoyed spending time on the water fishing. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 4, 2023, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 5, 2023, at Central Baptist Church with Reverend Kevin Laufer and Reverend Matt Flindt officiating. Serving as casket bearers will be Gary Lowman, Danny Crutcher, Dwayne Beavers, Zack Collier, Matt Kirk, and Nathan Moore. Honorary casket bearers will be Philip Hampton, Terry Hampton, and Chris Thrower. Final resting place will be at Ridgelawn Cemetery in Collinsville, Oklahoma.
