Michael Alan Wyatt was born April 2, 1966, in Cowpens, South Carolina, to MacArthur Wyatt and Peggy Jean Stone Wyatt. He died Thursday, May 25, 2023, in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, at the age of 57 years. Alan was reared and educated in Spartanburg, South Carolina, and graduated with the Dorman High School Class of 1984. He served his country honorably with the United States Air Force for 11 years. He continued his education at Spartan School of Aeronautics in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Alan spent his professional career as a systems analyst for 15 years at Community Care of Oklahoma, and most recently as a contractor with ONEOK. He was married July 7, 2011, in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, to Tarah Lea Brummett. He was a member of Life.Church in Broken Arrow. Alan also worked as a Captain with the Civil Air Patrol for over 19 years. He enjoyed a variety of pastimes including watching NASCAR, playing the NFL pick ‘em game with friends and family, and was an avid fan of Clemson Tiger athletics. He enjoyed time spent on the golf course with Josh and Michael. He especially loved flying as a Pilot for the Civil Air Patrol. He was particularly fond of his role as “PopPop” to his grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at Life.Church in Broken Arrow, 2420 East Kenosha Street, with Pastor Bryan Hill officiating.
