07/25/2023 – Owasso Community Resources has been making a significant impact this summer by assisting numerous families with essential food and hygiene products. However, their supply of toilet paper, which was purchased in bulk back in 2020, has been completely used up.
In their monthly grocery program, they typically provide two rolls of toilet paper to each household. The demand has been substantial, and in May and June alone, they supported over 860 households. To meet this pressing need, OCR is reaching out to the local community, including businesses, churches, small groups, and individuals, to lend a helping hand and “roll out” their support in restocking their toilet paper inventory.
During the month of August, OCR will be seeking assistance with their TP supply, and they are hoping that you and your friends can extend your support by organizing TP drives or contributing what you can. If you host a drive, OCR is more than willing to arrange the pickup of large quantities of toilet paper. Alternatively, you can conveniently drop off your donations anytime from Monday to Friday, between 8 am and 2 pm, at their location at 109 N. Birch in Owasso. Your generosity will go a long way in helping the community during these challenging times.
