Jeanie was born on October 31, 1982, to Brenda and Larry Baker.
Jeanie is survived by her husband Jeremy Douglas, her children, Nevaeh and Makayla Douglas, her parents, Brenda and Terry Alexander and Larry and Sabrina Baker, her siblings, Suzette Furry and Katlyn Baker, her grandpa Kenneth Baker, her brother-in-law, Mike (Larissa) Douglas, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephew.
Jeanie was preceded in death by an unborn child, her grandparents, Donald and Barbara Cope, and Gayla Katschke, her great grandparents, Willie Able (Stud) and Pearl Young, Agnes and Herman Cope, and nana, her father-in-law, Mike Douglas, and her stepfather Ray Treat.
Jeanie and Jeremy met at Alps grocery store. Their eyes locked across the frozen food section, and they have been inseparable ever since. They were married on November 22, 2002. Jeanie loved her family! Her mama, her husband, and her girls were her world!! Jeanie was the most loving, kind, and caring person. These attributes helped her and Jeremy to foster and care for numerous children. Jeanie was resilient and courageous in her on-going medical battle. Jeanie’s favorite vacation destination was Branson, Missouri. She loved movies and I Love Lucy. Jeanie Kay loved to eat! Chocolate cake and BBQ ribs were among her favorites. She enjoyed baking and trying new recipes. She was drawn to genealogy and had a knack for being our own little private investigator. Jeanie and Jeremy are members of the Eastland Church of the Firstborn.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 21, 2023, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Mowery Funeral Service. 9110 N. Garnett Rd. Owasso, OK 74055. Services will be held at Eastland Church of the Firstborn, 13140 E. 21st Tulsa, OK, on Friday, September 22, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be at Rose Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 4161 E. Admiral Pl. Tulsa, OK 74115. Reception will follow burial at Eastland Church of the Firstborn, 13140 E. 21st, Tulsa, OK
