Ronnie Sue Olsen was born on January 6, 1942, in Stamford, Texas to J.J. Howard and Wanda Louise (Cannon) Howard. She passed from this life on Monday, September 25, 2023, in Catoosa, Oklahoma at the age of 81 years. Ronnie was married on April 9, 1977, in Zapata, Mexico to Dennis Lynn Olsen. Ronnie spent most of her working life as a hairdresser and assistant in the reading lab at Collinsville elementary school. She was a longtime faithful member of the Church of Christ, and taught the baby bible school class at Memorial Drive Church of Christ for over 20 years. Ronnie loved to travel and taught English as a second language for “Let’s Start Talking” on mission trips to Russia, China, Brazil, Panama, and Honduras. She also volunteered as a Blue Star Mother and helped arrange care boxes and cards for many serving overseas in the United States Armed Forces. In her spare time, Ronnie enjoyed crafting, watercolor painting, playing Bunco, and collecting bunnies.

She was preceded in death by her parents, J.J. and Wanda, and her sister, Joann.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 2, 2023, at Memorial Drive Church of Christ in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso.
