Karli Alana Baumert was born on November 6, 1994 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Glen Alan Baumert and Taren
Tarene Withrow. She passed from this life far too soon on Sunday, December 24, 2023 in Owasso,
Oklahoma at 29 years old. Karli was raised in Pryor, Oklahoma and graduated from Pryor High School
Class of 2013. She attended Roger’s State University in the Graphic Arts program.
She met her partner Kenny in the fall of 2013 and quickly fell in love with both him and his two sweet
daughters, Kordellia and Kenleigh. Karli and Kenny were true soulmates. They had their son, Krosby, in
2017 and added the newest member of the “K” flock, Karoline, just last year.
Karli, her sister, Kasie, and their mother were all incredibly close. They all communicated daily. When
they got together, there was no shortage of goofy dancing, laughter, and warmth. She was also a
beloved aunt to her niece and nephew.
Karli touched so many lives and always sought to see the best in people. All who knew and loved her
were like moths to a flame. Her light truly burned so bright. She was magnetic, witty, stubborn,
compassionate, and beautiful – inside and out.
Karli spent most of her time raising and nurturing her children. She taught them about unconditional
love, respecting nature, emotional intelligence, art in all forms, expression and pretty much anything
else they were curious about. She was a very patient, kind, and downright fun mother.
Karli was involved in fostering and helping find loving homes for animals through SPACAR, a cause she
cared about deeply. Along with her beloved dogs, Karli had a whole flock of chickens and ducks she
cared for and adored.
Karli also loved gardening, cooking creatively and feeding her people. Art and music were very
important in her life as evidenced by her beautiful, creative community of friends with whom she
surrounded herself.
Karli is very deeply loved and will be endlessly missed.

Her sister, Kasie Espinoza and husband Angel Espinoza – along with Karli’s niece, Vivian Espinoza, and
nephew, Felix Espinoza, of Pryor, OK
Her parents Taren Withrow of Pryor, OK and Glen Baumert of Durango, CO.
Her grandparents Karen and Joe Withrow of Pryor, OK and Marge Dixon of Vinita, OK.
Along with so many special aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws and the amazing friends she considered
family.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Larry Baumert and Merle Dixon, her great
grandparents, Naomi Fowler and Charles “Pete” Fowler, and her beloved dogs, Ellie Mae and Izzy.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at the Mowery Funeral
Service Chapel in Owasso. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the “Karli
Baumert Memorial Fund” through Arvest Bank in Owasso.
