Dan Franklin Clark, Sr., was born July 19, 1960, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Connie Clark and Dora Ellen Franklin. He died Monday, January 29, 2024, in Afton, Oklahoma, at the age of 63 years. Dan completed his secondary education in Owasso, Oklahoma, and graduated with the Owasso High School Class of 1978. He owned and operated his own restaurant business in Owasso called Big D’s Patio Grill. After several years he began a career as a semi-truck salesman, eventually owning Oklahoma Truck and Equipment, then later Speedway Truck Sales. Dan enjoyed a variety of pastimes including spending time on the water fishing. He dearly loved and enjoyed his kids and grandkids, especially out on Grand Lake.
Those he leaves behind who hold many cherished memories include:
Son; Dan F. Clark II, and wife Kendra
Daughter; Kelly Clark
Grandchildren; Landon, Cadon, Noah, Dakota, Kiara, Tracen, and Kenzleigh
He was preceded in death by his parents, Connie and Dora Clark, and his two brothers, Dr. Steven Clark and Sanford Clark.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 5, 2024, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso with Reverend Don Cason officiating. Final resting place will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
