Eugene “Gene” Adams was born on February 12, 1936, in Morrison, Oklahoma to Raymond William Adams and Cloe Bertha (Bybee) Adams. He passed from this life on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 88 years. Gene was raised and educated in Lela, Oklahoma and graduated with the Pawnee High School Class of 1954. He then enlisted and served his country honorably in the United States Army. Gene was married on November 3, 1962, in Masham, Oklahoma to Barbara Sue (Schulze) Adams. He spent most of his working life as a data processor with Nelson Electric in Tulsa for about 30 years. Gene had most recently been attending Rejoice Free Will Baptist Church in Owasso. After retirement, he and Sue volunteered with Meals on Wheels in Owasso for 14 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed a variety of past times such as fishing and walking, but most of all he loved spending time with his family.
