Rodney Earl Watt was born on December 12, 1949, in Clinton, Oklahoma to Paul James Watt and Elizabeth Judith (Thiessen) Watt. He passed from this life on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at his home in Owasso, Oklahoma at the age of 74 years. He was raised and educated in Putnam, Oklahoma and graduated with the Custer City High School Class of 1968. He went on to earn a bachelors degree in Metallurgical Technology from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Rodney was married on July 4, 1976, in Little Rock, Arkansas to Vernell Rhea (Webb) Watt. He was a sales representative for Welsco, Inc. for over 40 years. In his spare time, Rodney enjoyed a variety of past times such as being outdoors, hunting, fishing, watching Oklahoma State Athletics, and watching his grandsons’ sports and activities.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Elizabeth, and his two brothers, J.C. and Richard.
There will be a visitation to come greet the family on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. A private family service will be held at a later date.
