William Alex (Bill) Boklach was born July 11, 1938, in Scranton, Pennsylvania. He passed into eternity on Thursday, January 9, 2025, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 86 years. Bill joined the United States Air Force in 1956 and was honorably discharged as a Korean War veteran in 1962. While serving in the Air Force, Bill was awarded the Good Conduct Medal along with a longevity award. While stationed at Vance Air Force Base in Enid, Oklahoma, Bill met and married the love of his life, DeAnna Vogt. Together they built a beautiful family. During his years of employment as a commercial bus driver, Bill logged more than a million miles without an accident behind the wheel. After retiring from the bus company, he went on to retire from two other careers, demonstrating his strong work ethic. After Bill’s third retirement at age 85, he became a loving caregiver to his wife. Our hearts were full watching him care for her with love and compassion.
