John Ann (Holland) Dunbar, resident of Tulsa, passed away Monday evening, February 25, 2013 at the age of 88 years. John Ann was born March 21, 1924 at Centralia, OK to John and Sarah A. (Miller) Holland. She was raised and received her education there. On June 20, 1941, she 
and James Kendall Dunbar were united in marriage at Pryor, OK. To this union, three daughters were born. Following their marriage, they made their home in the Collinsville and Tulsa area. John Ann was a faithful member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Tulsa. She enjoyed playing canasta, gardening and spending Sunday’s with her family.
Those that survive include her daughters – Sharon Perona, Donna Gilliam and husband Gary and Linda Johnson and husband Nelson all of Tulsa; five grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband James in April of 2005, two brothers and one sister.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Friday, March 1, 2013 at Christ The King Catholic Church in Tulsa with Monsignor Mueggenborg officiating. Committal prayers and burial will be at 2:00 pm Friday at the Martin Cemetery at Centralia, OK. Visitation will be from 4pm – 8pm on Thursday, February 28th at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso.
