A work van lost control Thursday afternoon, hopped the curb, took out a big light pole, and a tree at the First Bank located at 86th and Garnett before it came to rest on a parking curb 10 feet from the bank drive through.
No one was injured but one bank employee’s car was damaged from the falling debris.
The driver of the van was checked medically and by police. Police think it was a medical condition/issue that caused the driver to lose control.
