Dora Allene Dye was born February 10, 1930, in Russellville, Arkansas, to Alfred and Maude Ann Brown Knight. She died Monday, December 2, 2019, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 89 years. Allene was married January 31, 1975, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to J.B. Dye. She spent most of her working life as a homemaker and caring for her family. She had been a faithful member of Rejoice Free Will Baptist Church in Owasso. She enjoyed a variety of pastimes including gardening, but she especially enjoyed going camping and exploring in the RV.

Courtney Chartier, and Brenden Chartier
Brother; James Knight, of Russellville, Arkansas
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, J.B. Dye, son, Gene Roach, sister, Rheba Decker, and brother, Virgil Knight.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 5, 2019, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso with Pastor Leonard Pirtle officiating. A one-hour viewing will be held prior to service time. The family requests memorial contributions be made to The Mission-FBC Owasso, 11341 North Garnett Road, Owasso, Oklahoma. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
