Maxine Rhoads was born February 23, 1931, in Collinsville, Oklahoma, to
Henry Franklin and Grace Palmer Weygandt. She died Thursday, December 5, 2019, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 88 years. Maxine graduated from Collinsville High School in 1948. She was married June 5, 1948, in Collinsville to Bobby Lee Rhoads. They established a new church at Oologah in December of 1964. She served steadily by her husband’s side at Oologah Assembly of God until his passing on April 4, 1993. She continued to serve as a faithful
member of the church. Maxine enjoyed a variety of pastimes including fishing, crocheting, and collecting hummingbirds. She was also an avid reader and particularly enjoyed her role as Grandma.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Pastor Bob Rhoads, son-in-law, Joe Knepper, four brothers, and two sisters.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, December 8, 2019, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 9, 2019, at the Oologah Assembly of God with Pastor Kent Jensen officiating. Serving as casket bearers will be Jeremy Knepper, Tyler Jackson, Branson Rhoads, Dustin Dale, Clay Bell, Greg Jacobs, and Dusty Smith. Committal service and interment will follow at Ridgelawn Cemetery in Collinsville, Oklahoma. The family requests memorial contributions be made to Oologah Assembly of God building fund or Porta Caeli House, 2440 North Harvard Avenue, Tulsa, Oklahoma, 74115. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
