Applications are now being accepted for the 2014-2015 Leadership Owasso Class. The class will begin on October 22, 2014 and conclude in May, 2015.
Leadership Owasso is a community based leadership program designed to increase the participant’s knowledge of, commitment to, and involvement in Owasso. If you desire to increase your knowledge about our great city, while enhancing your leadership skills, then this class is for you. You will grow personally while you learn from industry leaders in the fields of, business, education, government, and art & humanities. You will gain new perspectives about business procedures, community service, and volunteerism. You will go on tours, work together on group projects, and build lasting friendships with your classmates.
The Leadership Owasso class will meet one time a month, normally the second Thursday, from 1:30 PM-7:00 PM. Topics that will be covered include—Education: Public, Private and Post-Secondary; Government: Local, County, State, and Federal; Economic Development; and Quality of Life.
Application deadline is September 30, 2014. Tuition cost is $495.00. Class size is limited.
