04/09/2018 – Seeing the strain school being out has put on Owasso food banks, Bailey Education Foundation wanted to help by making a monetary donation to those organizations.
On Monday, Marna Salts presented $400 checks to Tiffany Bell with Neighbors in Need and Randy Cowling with Owasso Community Resources.
Neighbors in Need services the food needs of families in Owasso, Collinsville, Skiatook, Sperry, and Oologah .
Owasso Community Resources services Owasso and Collinsville Families.
Both organizations have been passing out emergency food kits for children who rely on school lunches for their meals.
Bailey Education Foundation has also decided to do a Bunco Night fundraiser for both organizations, with details being announced soon.
