Longtime Owasso resident Barbara Irene Dudley was born November 5, 1938, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Richard Hugh ad Flora Naomi (Bubb) Dudley. She died Tuesday, May 20, 2014, in Tulsa, at the age of 75 years. Barbara was reared and educated in Tulsa and completed hersecondary education graduating with the Central High School Class of 1956. She spent most of her working life as an executive secretary with Blue Cross andBlue Shield. She enjoyed a variety of pastimes including quilting, researching genealogy, and all kinds of animals. She especially enjoyed spending time with her friends with her Senior Citizens exercise group.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Jean Payton.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 22, 2014, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 23, 2014, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso with Dr. Loran McAlister officiating. Committal services and interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
