Barbara Jane Holt was born June 11, 1932, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Frank Ernest Busenbark and Mary Virginia Noyes Busenbark. She died Thursday, June 22, 2023, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 91 years. Barbara completed her secondary education in Tulsa and graduated with the Central High School “Nifty Fifty” Class. She was married June 15, 1950, in Tulsa, to Robert Holt. While living in California and raising her children, she and Robert enjoyed spending time with their family traveling and camping. They had made their home in Owasso, Oklahoma, in 1998. She spent much of her working life as a teachers aide with Springdale Elementary School in Tulsa. Barbara was an avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan and enjoyed watching Hallmark movies. She was especially fond of her role as “Grandma”.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Virginia Busenbark, and her husband, Robert Holt.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 26, 2023, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso with Pastor Leonard Pirtle officiating. Final resting place will be next to her husband at Graceland Memorial Park Cemetery in Owasso, Oklahoma.
