Betty Jane Courtney was born on April 4, 1947, in Gore, Oklahoma to Frank Okey Thomas and Minnie Warseat. She passed from this life on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 74 years. Betty was raised and educated in Gore, where she attended school until completing the 8th grade. Betty later earned her GED from Rogers State University in Claremore, Oklahoma. She spent most of her working life as a cashier at Warehouse Market in Claremore for 20 years. In her spare time, Betty enjoyed a variety of past times such word search puzzles, jigsaw, puzzles and crossword puzzles, and she loved listening to Elvis music and collecting Elvis memorabilia.
