Betty June Conatzer was born on December 16, 1930, in Logan County, Geary, Oklahoma, to Jacob Wesley Sallee and Ruby Zelma (Loyd) Sallee. She passed away from this life on Monday, April 22, 2024, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 93 years. Her parents sharecropped in Geary, Oklahoma. They moved to Claremore, Oklahoma, where she attended Hiawatha Elementary School from first grade to fourth grade, then she went to Claremont school for fifth and sixth grade. They moved from Claremore, Oklahoma, to Mingo, Oklahoma, in 1942, where she then attended Mingo School through ninth grade, then attended high school at Tulsa Central High School and graduated in May of 1949.
She married Richard Conatzer August 10, 1949, and they had four children, Tommy Rosetta, Loretta, and John. She was saved at the age of 10 years at her grandfather Daniel Levi Sallee’s church where he pastored at the Hale Station Holiness Church. The Mingo Church started in the Sallee home and she started playing the piano and organ at the age of 12 for the church. She was the Sunday School secretary for a total of 60 years for the Mingo Holiness Assembly of God, and the church moved to Owasso and became Trinity Holiness Assembly of God where she continued as church secretary. She loved participating in the WMC;s and did quilting with the ladies at church. She loved her family, church, and crocheting. She taught several kids how to do Algebra. She took many college classes for bookkeeping at Rogers State College and computer classes at Tulsa Community College. She loved working on the computer. She took care of the bookkeeping for her husbands trucking business and for Texaco and Sinclair Oil Company for over 30 years. She was always available for her family and church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Conatzer, parents, Jacob and Ruby Sallee, sister, Margaret Ann Sallee, brothers, Charles Sallee and wife Irene, LD Sallee and wife Corina, brother-in-law, Charles Lawson, daughter-in-law, Cheryl Conatzer, and grandson, Jeffrey Tackett.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, April 28, 2024, at the Trinity Holiness Assembly of God. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 29, 2024, at the church with Reverend James Brown and Reverand RD Tackett officiating. Serving as casket bearers will be Billy Conatzer, Brent Conatzer, RD Tackett, Steven Tackett, Steven Hair, and Waylon Bird. Honorary casket bears will be Zachery Hair, Presley Hair, Cory Conatzer, Bowdrie Tackett, and Jon Wade Bird. Final resting place with be at Graceland Memorial Park Cemetery in Owasso. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
