On Friday, December 16, 2022, at approximately 2AM Owasso Police were dispatched to a reported Armed Robbery that had just occurred at Big Buds Dispensary located at 11505 E 83 St N, Owasso, Tulsa County, Cherokee Nation, OK.
Owasso Police arrived within one minute of the call, however, the caller, the store clerk, advised the robbery had occurred approximately ten minutes prior to him calling the police. The clerk reported that three masked males entered the store, one of which was holding a black semi-automatic pistol, who pointed the pistol at the clerk and ordered him to the ground. The clerk complied. The suspects then stole money (undisclosed amount) as well as store merchandise totaling thousands of dollars. The clerk was not physically harmed during the robbery. The clerk complied with the suspects but was unable to provide any physical descriptions as the men were masked and wore gloves. The clerk saw no vehicle in the area prior to or following the robbery. Owasso Police canvassed the area but found no signs of the suspects.
Owasso Police are awaiting internal video footage from the store’s owner and are canvassing nearby businesses and homes for additional security video footage that may provide a suspect or vehicle description. Via OPD
