Billy Ray Tyler was born November 15, 1938, in Legate, Oklahoma. He died Thursday September 18, 2014, in Owasso at the age of 75 years. Bill was educated in Ardmore and graduated with Ardmore High School class of 1957. He spent most of his working life in the Aircraft Manufacturing Industry and retired from McDonald Douglas in Tulsa. Bill enjoyed playing golf, watching football and the Golf Channel, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with friends and family.
Loving family members include: Son; Billy Duane Tyler, of Scurry, TX Sister and brother-in-law; Dianne and Rick Lewellen, of Plano, TX Two Nieces; Keri Norris and husband Steven, of Allen, TX Katie Nunez and husband Jett, of Red Oak, TX Great Niece; Verity Norris, of Allen, TX Aunt; Ruby Dollar, of Ardmore, OK Also surviving are numerous cousins and his Golf Buddies. Bill was preceded in death by his mother Opal Vaughan Moates.
