Billye Joyce Hogeland was born May 26, 1932, in Westville, Oklahoma, to William Everett and Ida Louise Jones Fleig. She died Monday, February 15, 2021, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 88 years. Billye was reared and educated in Westville and graduated with the Westville High School Class of 1950. She was married April 30, 1950, in Barron, Oklahoma, to Glen Wesley Hogeland. They had made their home in Owasso, Oklahoma, since 1955. Billye spent much of her working life as an administrative assistant with Tulsa Pipe Coating before retiring in 1986. She enjoyed a variety of pastimes including painting and sewing. She also enjoyed spending time outdoors, whether golfing out on the golf course or traveling and camping with Glen in the R.V. She particularly enjoyed spending time with her family.

Daughter; Glenda Carley and husband Richard, of Owasso, Oklahoma
Son; James Hogeland and wife Teresa, of Claremore, Oklahoma
Seven grandchildren
Nine great grandchildren
Four great great grandchildren
Brothers; Harold Fleig and wife Sue, of San Diego, California
Jerry Fleig and wife Linda, of Phoenix, Arizona
And a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her pare nts, her husband, Glen, brothers, Gene Fleig, and Bob Fleig, sister, Mary Lou Barnhouse, and grandson, Brian Fugate.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 22, 2021, with visitation one hour prior to service time. Officiating minister will be Pastor Steve Jenks. Final resting place will be at Graceland Memorial Park Cemetery in Owasso. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association, 2227 East Skelly Drive, Tulsa, Oklahoma, 74105. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
