Carolyn “Sue” Bennett was born March 10, 1951, in Pierce City, Missouri, to Caleb Smith and Goldie (Ford) Smith. She passed from this life on Tuesday, April 13, 2021, in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, at the age of 70 years. Sue was raised and educated in Tulsa, Oklahoma and graduated with the Will Rogers High School Class of 1969. She spent most of her working life as an administrative assistant with the IRS for 7 years and then as the fitting room clerk in Owasso for over 10 years. Sue had a strong relationship with her Savior, Jesus Christ, and was a longtime faithful member of Dawson Free Will Baptist Church in Tulsa. She enjoyed a variety of pastimes such as reading, gardening, crocheting, working crossword puzzles, and collecting seashells.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Caleb and Goldie, daughter, Cathy, 2 brothers, Chuck and Lee Roy, and her sister, Christine.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Jim Carney officiating.
