Charles Leo Evans was born October 17, 1938, in Fillmore, Oklahoma, to Hubert E. Evans and Louise E. (Chaney) Evans. He died Friday, October 9, 2015, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 76 years. Charles graduated with the Eunice High School Class of 1958 in Eunice, New Mexico. He was married to Shirley McPherson in January of 1958 in Lovington, New Mexico. Charles was a veteran of the armed forces, serving in the United States Air Force from June, 1959 to April, 1963. He spent his working life as the Crew Chief of Maintenance for American Airlines and retired in 1996. Charles enjoyed rebuilding old cars, but most of all loved spending time with his family.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Louise Evans, and wife, Shirley Evans.
