Antonia Morencio Velasco
Antonia Morencio Velasco, 19, of Claremore was arrested soon after leaving the scene of the accident.
911 operators had received numerous calls of a reckless driver on 86th Street North. Owasso Police spotted the car, driven by Velasco, and stopped it near 86th Street North and 120th East Avenue.
When the officer made contact, Velasco took off, driving into the nearby Three Lakes neighborhood, where he soon crashed his car into a home in the area of 8300 North 120th East Avenue. It was reported by Owasso Police that some residents of the home were injured. Velasco, also injured, ran from the scene, but was captured a few blocks away.
Velasco received medical attention, was booked, then transported to the Tulsa County Jail, with the following charges:
