FieldsDamon Fields was born July 9, 1972, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Terry Scott and Kenna Pauline (Chambers) Fields. He died Thursday, December 24, 2015, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 43 years. Damon was reared and educated in Tulsa and graduated with the Rogers High School Class of 1990. He spent most of his working life as a forklift operator with Saia motor freight, then the last three years with Industrial Piping Specialists in Tulsa. He was married January 3, 2014, in Tulsa, to Staci Lawhorn, and had made their home together in Owasso. Damon enjoyed working outside in the yard and was involved with the local neighborhood program Owasso CARES. He was always willing to lend a hand to anyone who needed help. He also had an interest in old cars and actually was the proud owner of two of his own. He was an avid fan of the show Street Outlaws, whose cast had actually paid him a visit during his illness.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, December 27, 2015, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral service will be held 1:30 p.m. Monday, December 28, 2015, at First Church in Owasso with Pastor Jim Schnorrenberg officiating. Serving as casket bearers will be Byron Teel, Cameron Hauser, Samuel Stegeman, Paul Fowler, Justin Huffman, and Mark Woodruff. Committal service and interment will follow at Graceland Memorial Park Cemetery in Owasso. The family requests memorial contributions be made to OSNI-Owasso CARES, attn. Jerry Fowler, P.O. Box 180, Owasso, Oklahoma, 74055. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
