05/10/2020 – Just after 2:00 PM Sunday, Owasso police were dispatched to reports of a motor vehicle accident at 86th Street North and Sheridan, where one vehicle was flipped and on fire.
Upon arrival, everyone was out of both vehicles, and one vehicle was smoking. Firefighters sprayed the rolled vehicle to take care of any hot spots.
What happened:
Vehicle one, driven by a 32-year-old female with a 14-year-old male passenger was traveling southbound on Sheridan.
Vehicle two, driven by a 33-year-old female with passengers age fourteen, eleven, and five, was driving westbound on 86th Street North.
The driver of vehicle one failed to stop at the stop sign and struck vehicle two, which then rolled on its side. All occupants of vehicle two received non-life threatening injuries, but were transported to St. Francis Tulsa to be looked at further. The driver of vehicle one was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign.
