David Glen Croslin was born March 21, 1959, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Calvin Coolidge Croslin and Synoma Carol (Bowyer) Croslin. He died Friday, November 22, 2019, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 60 years. David was raised and educated in Owasso and graduated with the Owasso High School Class of 1977. He spent most of his working life as a firefighter with the Tulsa Fire Department, serving from November 16, 1983 until he retired on July 31, 2011. David attended classes at Tulsa Community College until he earned enough credits to be promoted to Captain at the Tulsa Fire Department. He was married on July 9, 1994 in Branson, Missouri to Michelle Renae (Cook) Croslin. David was a skilled welder and carpenter and enjoyed a variety of past times such as fishing, hunting, skiing, traveling, drinking Budweiser, and coaching his children in athletics.

He was preceded in death by his father, Calvin and his brother, Calvin Jr.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, November 25, 2019 at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso. Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 26, 2019, at First Church in Owasso with Fred Richards officiating. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made in David’s memory to Hydrants of Hope, 12898 E. 510 Rd., Claremore, Oklahoma 74019 or Firefighter’s Burn Camp, P.O. Box 287, Owasso, Oklahoma 74055. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
