David Host Alonso was born on March 16, 1963, in Cary, Illinois to Michael Host Alonso and Maureen Joyce (Shumaker) Alonso. He passed from this life on Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at his home in Owasso, Oklahoma at the age of 58 years. David was raised and educated in Cary and graduated with the Cary Grove High School Class of 1981. He spent most of his working life as mechanic and the owner and operator of Pit Stop Discount Auto and Truck Repair in Claremore, Oklahoma for over 20 years. After 15 years of dating, David was married on June 13, 2021, in Lowell, Arkansas to Tina Dawn Alonso. He enjoyed a variety of past times such as golfing, watching football and especially his beloved Chicago Bears, going to concerts, socializing at the Hard Rock, spending time at the lake, fishing, and anything involving cars.
