David Lynn King was born July 24, 1944, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, to Luther Jefferson “Jeff” King Jr. and Vonda Margarita (Woodyard) King. He died Sunday, November 10, 2019, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 75 years. David lived in several states as a young man until finally graduating from Tulsa Hale High School in 1963. After high school he enlisted and served his country honorably in the United States Army. David spent most of his working life as a sales manager at Park Place Lexus in Grapevine, Texas for over 20 years. He was married on May 4, 1997 to Sherry Lynn (Sublette) King. David enjoyed a variety of past times such as golfing and drinking wine.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jeff and Vonda, and his wife, Sherry.
