Donald Edward Todd was born March 3, 1936, in Rusk County, Texas, to William Virgil Todd and Mary Elizabeth Justus Todd. He died Thursday, February 10, 2022, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 85 years. Donald completed his secondary education in Big Sandy, Texas, and was a graduate of Big Sandy High School. He continued his education attending Tyler Junior College in Tyler, Texas, and Texas A & M University in College Station, Texas. He spent most of his working life with Williams Petroleum Company as a chemical engineer specializing in liquid petroleum gas. His work included starting in Oklahoma and Texas before transferring to Kuwait, Iran, then returning to Tulsa, Oklahoma, until his retirement. Don was married February 15, 1986, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Carolyn Willey. He enjoyed a variety of pastimes including studying genealogy, collecting antiques, and traveling. He also enjoyed spending time at the casino and playing the slot machines.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, William George Todd, and grandson, Gabriel Jaxon Nester.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, February 14, 2022, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at the First United Methodist Church of Tulsa with Pastor Yvonne Buchanan officiating. Graveside service will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 18, 2022, at the Marlow City Cemetery in Marlow, Oklahoma.
