Donald Wayne Hill, resident of Owasso, passed away Sunday, April 20, 2014, at his home. He was 68 years of age. Donald was born November 11, 1945, in Sun Valley, California, to Emmett and Dadie (Dorman) Hill. Donald was raised and received hiseducation there. On June 15, 1963, he and Margaret Moore were united in marriage in Tijuana, Mexico. Donald was a fabrication foreman for Dieco Manufacturing. He loved raising pigeons, spending time with family and was a “jack of all trades” handyman. An avid camper, he enjoyed floating the river and going to the islands and snorkeling. He and Margaret have made their home in Owasso for the past 41 years.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Johnny Hill; his brother, Doyle Hill; and his sister, Rita Blythe.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, April 25, 2014, in the Chapel of Mowery Funeral Service with Pastor Jeff Wren officiating. Serving as casket bearers were David Hill, Derek DeGeorge, Eddie Hahn, Destin DeGeorge, Matthew Hahn, Bobby Carson, Ricky Stout and James Wilkerson. Serving as honorary casket bearers were Greg Waller and Michael Wilkerson. Committal services and interment followed at Sandridge Cemetery, Collinsville. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso. www.moweryfs.com
