Donna Jean Rogers was born December 9, 1950, in Russellville, Arkansas, to John Loyd and Faye Ellene Rachel Smith. She died Monday, February 19, 2018, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 67 years. Donna was reared and educated in Owasso, Oklahoma, and graduated with the Owasso High School Class of 1968. She was married November 18, 1972, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Rick Rogers. She spent much of her working life as an administrative assistant to the Superintendent of Bixby Public Schools. She was a faithful member of The Crossings at BCC in Bixby. Donna had a beautiful smile and a great sense of humor which she passed on to her children. She enjoyed a variety of pastimes including shopping, reading, playing the piano, being a coach’s wife, and loved her friends and family, but especially enjoyed her role of “Nana” to her grandchildren. Donna loved her kids and grandkids, but her heart belonged to Rick. Her advice on life was to be thankful for each and every day of your life, take one day at a time and always live and love every day because time goes fast.

Her husband; Rick, of the home
Son and daughter-in-law; Mike and Jessica Rogers, of Bixby
Daughter and son-in-law; Kari and Jared Smith, of Bixby
Grandchildren; Rachel Rogers, Jackson Rogers, Railey Smith, Ryder Smith, and Jacob Rogers
