Dorothy Louise Lewis was born July 8, 1931, in Inola, Oklahoma, to Charles Estes and Velma Gordineer. She passed from this life Thursday, February 22, 2018, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 86 years. Dorothy was raised and educated in the Tulsa area and graduated with the Central High School Class of 1949 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was married June 8, 1949, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, to Merle Dewitt Lewis. Dorothy spent most of her working life as a Customer Service Supervisor for Public Service Company of Oklahoma. After retirement, she sold real estate in the area. She was a faithful member of Rejoice Free Will Baptist Church in Owasso for over 30 years. In her spare time Dorothy enjoyed sewing, canning, and meeting and visiting with new people.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Velma, 3 Sisters, Trudy, Rosa, and Mildred, and son in law, Steve.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, February 26, 2018, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral service will be held 11:00 Tuesday, February 27, 2018, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso with Pastor Leonard Pirtle officiating. Burial and graveside Service will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
