Douglas Fain Gross was born March 2, 1955, in Coffeyville, Kansas, to Hubert Frederick Gross and Phyllis Lawson Gross. He died Sunday, February 16, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 69 years. Doug completed his secondary education in Owasso, Oklahoma, and graduated with the Owasso High School Class of 1973. He was married August 29, 1983, in Miami, Oklahoma, to Keli Bynne Murr.
Doug spent most of his working life as an auto mechanic, having earned many certifications and accreditations through Toyota. He enjoyed a variety of pastimes, especially being outdoors hunting, fishing, and camping. He took immense pleasure in antagonizing his daughter Kristen to the ends of the earth. Doug dearly loved his wife Keli and enjoyed going on and vacationing in the Philippines. He never really recovered after the passing of his wife Keli, and now he has gone to be with her again.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Keli, and brother, Steven Frederick Gross.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Final resting place will be with his wife Keli, at the Rolla Cemetery in Rolla, Missouri.
