Update From OPD: On Friday, July 24, 2015 at approximately 6:15PM, Owasso Police responded to a reported shooting at the Kum-&-Go convenience store, located at 8600 North Main Street in Owasso. Upon arrival, officers found a male with a gunshot wound in the parking lot of the business. Witnesses reported the suspect vehicle to be a red pick-up truck that sped from the area. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect vehicle. The victim was rushed by ambulance to a metro hospital where he was pronounced dead upon arrival. The victim is 26yo Emmett Tyler Wood of Sperry, OK. No further information at this time.

At 6:15pm Friday evening, Owasso Police were notified of a shooting at the Kum and Go at 10603 East 86th Street North.
When they arrived they found one victim, reported as a white or hispanic male in his early 20’s at the gas pump with a gunshot wound to the chest. Owasso Medics transported him to a Tulsa hospital. His condition is unknown at this time. A white Ford Focus believed to belong to the victim was towed from the scene. No one else was injured.
Officers were searching for a Red Pick-up seen leaving after the shooting.
