Earl Leo Williston, resident of Owasso, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2013 in Tulsa. Earl was born October 9, 1945 in Aurora, Arkansas to Walter and Vivian (Dennis) Williston. He was raised in Aurora and graduated Huntsville High School. Earl later attended Arkansas Tech University in Russellville, AR. On July 2, 1966, he and Janice L. Parson were united in marriage in Aurora. The first few years of their married life they lived in a variety of locations before moving to Bartlesville, OK, living there for 20 years. For the past 20 years, Owasso has been home. Earl was a co-owner of Eggbert’s International until retiring in 2009. In his earlier years, he was active in the Elk’s Lodge and Rotary International. In his spare time, Earl loved to fish.

Those who survive and hold many cherished memories include his wife Janice of the home; two sons – Brett Williston and his wife Stacey and Greg Williston and wife Katie, and their son Cash, all of Collinsville; and his mother Vivian Bowman of Huntsville, Arkansas. Earl was preceded in death by his father and a brother Lindell Bowman.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 13, 2013 in the Chapel of Mowery Funeral Service with Rev. Garth Bowman officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services. Committal rites will be in the Graceland Memorial Park Cemetery, Owasso. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions in Earl’s memory to: Clarehouse of Tulsa, 7617 South Mingo Road, Tulsa, OK 74133.
