Emma Jean Kelley was born March 11, 1940, in Howe, Oklahoma, to Harold Francis and Katherine Goldie VanMeter Kinsey. She died Sunday, March 15, 2020, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 80 years. Emma was married September 12, 1958, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, to Luther Neal Kelley. She spent most of her working life as a custodian with Owasso Public Schools. She had also worked as a caregiver at various nursing homes. Emma enjoyed a variety of pastimes, especially spending time in her garden. She also enjoyed canning, a gift she passed down to her family. She particularly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her role as “Nana”.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Luther.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 1, 2020, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 19, 2020, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Leonard Pirtle officiating. Committal service and interment will follow at Graceland Memorial Park Cemetery in Owasso.
