Erris Alexis OwensErris Alexis Owens was born on June 30, 2006, in Tulsa Oklahoma to Benjamin Christopher Owens and Jennifer Marie (Gregorovic) Clutter. She passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 16 years. Erris was working on her education and was enrolled as a Junior at Owasso High School. She loved caring for animals, especially Violet, her Bull Terrier. She also loved to paint and listen to music. Erris met the love of her young life two years ago. Josh was her boyfriend/best friend who helped keep her spirits up and listened when she couldn’t sleep during her time at Saint Francis Children’s Hospital.
Erris received the best possible care at Saint Francis Children’s Hospital and was truly loved by her nurses on the PICU and Oncology floors. There are too many nurses to mention but a few of her favorites were Tori, Bri and Andrea.
Erris was proceeded in death by her grandpa Bruce Owens, grandma Connie Packard; great grandparents Louise Donohue, John P. Gregorovic, Arthur and Lavona Johnson and Jenny Kasakan.
Erris lit up every room she entered with her infectious smile and loving spirit.

A visitation will be held 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, December 19, 2022. Funeral Service will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 20, 2022. Both will be held in the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso. Interment will be held at Graceland Memorial Park Cemetery in Owasso. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made in Erris’s memory to either St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or The Children’s Hospital Foundation at Saint Francis, 6600 South Yale Avenue, Suite 400, Tulsa, OK 74136.
