Eva Dean “Evie” Cauthron was born on October 18, 1933, in Parsons, Kansas to Richard Allen Ringstaff and Eva Kathryn Brand. She passed from this life on January 30, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 91 years. Evie was raised and educated in Parson and graduated with the Parsons High School Class of 1951. Evie was married on October 18, 1974, in Joplin, Missouri to Herschel Edward Cauthron. She spent most of her working life as a real estate agent with Homes Unlimited in Owasso for 20 years. She also owned and operated Big Red Pizza, Owasso’s first pizza restaurant. Evie was a longtime faithful member of the First United Methodist Church in Owasso. She enjoyed volunteering and was a member of the Eastern Stars women’s group as well as helping with Meals on Wheels. In her spare time, Evie enjoyed a variety of past times such as quilting, sewing, crocheting and gardening.
