Brookfield Crossing

On Saturday, February 20, 2016 at approximately 8:35AM Owasso Police and Fire were dispatched to reported explosion at a residence near 11700 East 119th St N, in the Brookfield Crossing neighborhood of Owasso.

Upon arrival Officers observed a device standing on a porch at a residence and signs that another similar device had already detonated.  Through investigation it was determined that these devices were liquid mixtures that caused rapid expansion causing the contents of the devices to spatter.  These devices were not traditional explosives and were completely non-lethal in nature.

While this incident is still under investigation the placement and nature of these devices tends towards prank or intimidation as the likely motive.  The second device was safely removed and the area is safe and clear at this time.”
