White Bass are great below the dam. Largemouth bass and crappie are hard to find due to below-par water clarity, but when found are caught in fair numbers. Fort Gibson: May 16. Elevation is 17 ft. above normal and falling, water temperature is 70°F and stained. Paddlefish good on snagging below the damn. Flooded conditions persist. Access via parks and the usual boat ramps is very limited. Most access points remain closed. Striper have been biting very well this week. They are being caught south of the railroad bridge and near Washita point. Look for ledges near channels in 30-40 ft. water. Live shad have been the go-to for striper. Blue cats are biting on live shad and cut bait in 20-38ft of water.
